How Get Ready to Learn LLC safeguards family records, child safety data, portal access, and state licensing compliance documentation.

🤝

Our Privacy Commitment

Effective September 2026 • Registered Family Child Care Provider # FCC130186

At Get Ready to Learn LLC, we believe that entrusting your child to our care is an act of deep trust. That trust extends to how we protect, store, and manage your family's personal information, health considerations, emergency authorizations, and daily learning moments. We maintain strict confidentiality, bank-grade encryption standards, and complete transparency in everything we do.

🔒
Zero Commercial Exploitation Guarantee

We never sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your or your child's personal data to data brokers, third-party advertisers, or marketing affiliates.

📋 Data Collection

1. Information We Collect

Only the information necessary to provide safe, registered, and nurturing family child care.

📅 Prospective Family Inquiries & Tours

When you request an in-person tour or contact our program, we collect parent/guardian names, email addresses, phone numbers, child's age group or expected birth date, desired enrollment start date, and care requirements.

👨‍👩‍👧 Enrolled Family & Safety Records

Upon enrollment, we maintain emergency contact records, authorized pickup persons (verified by government-issued photo ID), health precautions, allergy alerts, dietary needs, and child date of birth.

🍼 Daily Care Operations & Logs

To keep parents informed and satisfy state registration mandates, educators record daily meals, nap times, diapering or potty intervals, developmental milestones, photos of learning activities, and parent notes.

🏛️ Official Attendance Records

Daily check-in and check-out timestamps, staff digital signatures, departure authorization records, and hours of care are tracked to fulfill NJ Department of Children and Families registration mandates.

🔐 Access Architecture

2. Family Portal Security & Row-Level Isolation

Technological measures engineered to protect child records from unauthorized visibility.

Our family portal uses strict architectural boundaries to safeguard family records:

Strict Row-Level Parent Isolation

Every parent account is cryptographically bound to their own child's profile. Parents can only view their own child's check-in status, daily activities, care notes, and photos. Under no circumstances can a parent view other enrolled children or family information.

Role-Scoped Teaching Staff Access

Educators and assistants are granted operational access strictly to log daily routines (meals, naps, activities, photos) and acknowledge parent morning notes. Staff accounts cannot view administrative records, billing details, or directory passwords.

NIST-Compliant Cryptography & Secure Sessions

Passwords are salted and hashed using NIST PBKDF2 with HMAC-SHA256 and 600,000 iterations. Sessions use HTTP-only, SameSite=Strict cookies with idle timeout protection, preventing session theft or cross-site scripting (XSS) leaks.

🏛️ State Licensing & Retention

3. State Compliance & Record Retention

Operating in accordance with New Jersey child care licensing mandates.

As an officially certified Family Child Care Provider under the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (NJ DCF Registration # FCC130186, sponsored through Programs for Parents, Inc. in Essex County under N.J.S.A. 30:5B-16 et seq.), we are legally required to maintain certain operational records:

  • Attendance Registers: Daily arrival and departure times, recorded signatures, and attendance totals must be maintained for official state licensing inspections and CCIS subsidy audits.
  • Archived Records: When a child graduates or withdraws from our program, state regulations require that safety, health documentation, and attendance histories be archived rather than instantly erased, preserving compliance integrity.
  • Health & Immunization Forms: Required Universal Child Health Records and immunization documentation are kept in locked, confidential files accessible only to authorized licensing inspectors and emergency medical responders.
⚙️ Technical Disclosures

4. Cookies & External Services

Transparent technical details regarding cookies, offline caching, and third-party assets.

Sign-in & Session Cookies: The family portal utilizes strictly necessary authentication cookies to verify your identity across page requests. No tracking cookies or advertising pixels are used.

Offline Protection: To safeguard child privacy, private portal records, daily care notes, and shared daily activity photos are not made available for offline public browsing.

External Assets: Public website pages load typography stylesheets from Google Fonts and an interactive location map from Google Maps (displaying 88 Carnegie Ave). These services receive standard HTTP connection requests to serve these elements.
