How to Use Your Family Portal
Stay connected with your child’s daily care, learning moments, arrival/departure logs, and photos in real time. Follow this quick guide to install the app on your phone and get started.
📱 Step 1: Add to Your Phone Home Screen
You do not need an app store download. The portal saves directly to your phone’s home screen as a secure, full-screen mobile app.
- Open Safari and go to the portal link.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up at the bottom).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen (+).
- Tap Add in the top-right corner.
- The GetReady Portal icon will appear on your home screen!
- Open Google Chrome and go to the portal link.
- Tap the Three Dots (⋮) menu in the top-right corner.
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Confirm by tapping Install or Add.
- The portal icon is now installed in your app drawer and home screen.
🔐 Step 2: Signing In
- Username: Provided upon enrollment by Director Kerryann (e.g.
firstname.lastname). - Password: Your private family password.
- Auto-Lock: For your child’s privacy, sessions automatically sign out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
🌟 Step 3: What You Can Do in the Portal
Check-in / check-out timestamps, meals, naps, diapering logs, learning activities, and candid photos.
Send a direct message regarding health, pickup changes, or special comfort items.
Keep phone numbers, emergency contacts, and authorized pickup individuals verified and up to date.
Photos and records are strictly private to your family account and center leadership.
